Get ready for a rootin’-tootin’ Shakespearean romp through the hills as Hub City Theatre Company presents The Comedy of Errors—with a 1920s Appalachian twist! In a lively mountain town buzzing with bootleggers, barn dances, and backwoods charm, two sets of long-lost twins unknowingly cross paths, setting off a chain reaction of mistaken identities, wild chases, and side-splitting confusion. Accusations fly, tempers flare, and chaos reigns in this high-energy farce that proves sometimes the only way to find yourself is to get completely lost in the madness.
This FREE outdoor performance brings Shakespeare’s most madcap comedy to life with a down-home twist, blending fast-talking fun with the rich storytelling of Appalachian folklore. Patrons should bring their own lawn chairs or blankets to sit on and enjoy the show under the open sky.
