FALL 2024 PRODUCTION
Are you ready to step into the thrilling world of suspense and psychological drama? Hub City Theatre Company invites actors of all experience levels to audition for our upcoming production of Rope by Patrick Hamilton.
This dark, gripping play, based on a real-life murder case, is a masterclass in tension and intrigue. Set in a Manhattan apartment, Rope explores the chilling consequences of arrogance and the pursuit of intellectual superiority as two young men attempt to commit the "perfect crime"—and then host a dinner party with the victim's body hidden in the same room. As the night unfolds, the psychological cat-and-mouse game pushes each character to the edge, making for an unforgettable theatrical experience.
Join us as we bring this classic Hitchcockian tale to life on stage. Whether you're an experienced performer or new to the world of theatre, this is your chance to be part of a production that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats!
To achieve this goal, we aim to present Jackson with a mix of new and familiar theatrical works (always looking for odd hows and/or intimate spaces to perform in) to entertain and to challenge our audience and bring together theatre artists from all walks of life and all levels of experience.
